Our Disney Trip

We leave for Orlando tomorrow....this is what we are most looking forward to...we will see if the list is the same as our favorites on our return:

Billy- Tower of Terror
JJ - Tower of Terror...."but I am most excited for everything, so I really do not know what I am most excited for!"
Mickey - The muppets (of course)
Minnie - Finishing the 1/2 Marathon with my knee intact and Harry Potter at Universal

Billy and Mickey hit the slopes

Billy had two extra passes from his snowboarding lessons this year and he and Mickey took advantage of one of the last weekends to ski this year!

Billy's class did a great project with all the other second grade classes. They created a museum of famous Americans. Billy was selected to 'interview' Rosa Parks and Abraham Lincoln. We had fun visiting the museum and seeing how much work Billy and his classmates put into the exhibits!

Happy New Year!

Chinese New Year that is....

We celebrated by eating dinner with chopsticks (and checking that off Minnie's 40 before 40 list) followed by a few games of Chinese Checkers.

2011 is The Year of the Rabbit, which is to be a placid year...a time of rest. Somehow, with Billy and JJ and all of their adventures, I am not sure that will hold true for us! And, I am not sure that I want it to!

The 100 Year Snooze...

Billy joined the Drama Club at is his recap of their play, the 100 year snooze:

I am in the school play this year. I am Sir Alfred, Loyal subject #1, #6 and #10! I have about 5 lines. In our practices I kept getting more. On opening night, our superintendent was there and so was our principal and Mrs. C and about 100 other people. We did really good, and it was very fun. We did not have the play tonight because of the snow day....but we will have it next week one night and doing it one day for the rest of the school.
