Harlem Globetrotters

We had a treat this past week....the Harlem Globetrotters came to town and we went to see them. It was lots of fun....great ball handling, awesome dunks and funny potty humor!

Two of our favorites....when one player got up on top of the basketball rim (see picture) and then another time when a Globetrotter pulled a player on the other team's uniform ALL THE WAY OFF (except his undies!). It was funny...but JJ actually got mad and yelled at them to give him his clothes back (they didnt listen!)

Happy Birthday, Dr. Suess

Our favorite author's birthday was yesterday, so we celebrated with a fun Dr. Seuss themed dinner.....

A butter-battle (we had a contest with two different enhanced butters....the blue cheese infused one beat out the honey kind by a vote of 3-1....of course JJ favored the honey, just like Pooh would!)

We are working to read every one of the Dr. Seuss books this month to find the one we like the best. We read a book and see if we like it better than the current leader. If so, we move that one into the leader spot. We have read 17 of his 44 books so far.....and at this point, 'If I Ran the Zoo' reigns supreme. Stay tuned to The Adventures of Billy and JJ to see which book will top our list (we know you just cannot wait for that announcement!)
